Pricing: Natural Swimming Pools & Ponds

A lot of factors contribute to the overall cost to build a Natural Swimming Pool/Pond, including its size (we can create a NSP in just about any shape or size imaginable), construction method (there are actually several different ways to build a NSP), and what special features are included (infinity edge, pier, dock, waterfall, stream, waterslide, jumping boulder, grotto, beach, etc).

To build even a basic Natural Swimming Pool/Pond, you need a lot of different materials, including a liner, several tons of river rock and filter media, at least one water pump, many plumbing fittings and tubes/pipes, lumber for a pier and/or underwater wooden walls, and boulders for an optional waterfall or stream. To build a NSP you also need to budget for the heavy machinery that is used throughout construction (typically, an excavator and a track loader/skid steer) and the labor time needed to put it all together!

$60,000 - $70,000 Turn-Key

The Essential NSP: Our most basic, most affordable Natural Swimming Pool/Pond is built more like a pond than a traditional pool, with a liner bottom and a natural river rock edge. Using an underwater wooden wall, we create a swimming area in the center of the pool and a planted biological filtration area around the edges. This construction style, which we call our Essential NSP, is the most economical way to build a Natural Swimming Pool/Pond. We can create our Essential style of NSP in many different sizes and shapes, below are some examples:
